Stalker's Paradise

So, dahling Interwebz, I'm sure you've heard of this new crazy fad that's sweeping the nation called Four Square--right?

Well, recently when I was in Florida, my friend was "checking in" everywhere. While I had my doubts--stalkers would legit go crazypants for this--he assured me that only his friends on Four Square could see where he was checking in. Whatevah, I still was on the look out for any potential stalkers following us from Starbucks to Starbucks...

I recently came across this article from the NY Times about Four Square--chchcheck it out! It seems to be everywhere lately, making me wonder if I'm missing out on something...

The only reason I would start Four Squarin' it up, despite the stalker lovefest it's got going on, is because of its semi-competitive nature. If you visit a place more than anyone, you become THE MAYOR. That sounds pretty legit. My same friend, who walks to work, became the Mayor of the Church of Scientology in Boston just by walking past it almost everyday. {Take that Tom Cruise!} Also, if you go certain places you can unlock badges--my Four Squaring friend, who recently went for a sail, unlocked the "I'm on a Boat" badge. TPain and Andy Samburg mackin' on some mermaids and wearin' flippy floppies? In a badge form? Yes please!

But yeah, I don't have an iPhone, so I probski couldn't do any Squarin' anyway. Even if I didn't think that it was kindof, well, really creepy.

Screwed.

All of this packing up of the cave to move has got me thinking about donating a lot...like A LOT of my existing stuff to Salvation Army. I mean, who really needs 4 fans, two ethernet cords, 3-4 iPod chargers, and over 4 bins worth of clothing??

Apparently, me. Or so I thought before I actually had to pack up all my stuff. HA.

So, today, dear Interwebz, I am pretending that I've cleared out all of the stuff I don't need (installation CD's for printers that have long since bitten the dust, for example) and am fake shopping for mah new apartment at one of my most favoritest stores: Anthropologie.

Replace lots of old stuff with lots of new stuff--that's how it works right?

I am so screwed.

Scratch and...FUNKIFY.

It's like the lottery ticket of the map world! So cool--and fun! When I was little I always liked the scratch and sniff stickers, maybe this map could smell like the country after you scratch off the top layer, as well as be a fun color? Cause that would be EPIC.

I want for the new apartment, Interwebz, plz?

In Need of a Change

So, dearest Interwebz, I think that I'm in need of a change. A somewhat drastic one.

I think that I want to cut all of my hair off. I have chopped my hair off-and donated it-before, but somehow it always takes some building of confidence to actually go to the salon to have it cut off. I'm a bit nervous to do it because my hair is so long now (and to tell you the truth, I've been putting off getting a hair cut for, like, the past year) but I keep doing the same thing with it everyday--SUPER BORING--and I feel like the longer it gets, the harder it is to control.

What do you think? Too crazypants?

Here are some photos of people with short hair--inspiration, perhaps?
